Our Team

Sarah Jane Edward-Sebeni
Co-Founder & CEO
Edvisually For Autism and Beyond

Sarah Jane Edward-Sebeni is an entrepreneur with a background in Education, Applied Linguistics, and TESOL. She founded her first thriving startup in 2008 in academic tutoring called Rising Minds, to provide K-12 and college students in her community with learning support. She then moved on to co-author her first book with her co-founder and friend Vidya, which is currently evolving into a one-of-a-kind online visual learning platform to serve neurodivergent learners globally.

She is a passionate advocate and highly skilled communicator on issues pertaining to Autism, ADHD, Mental Health, Neuro-diversity and Inclusion amongst the underserved, underrepresented and underprivileged in Education.

Outside of work, when she’s not pouring herself into driving EdVisually’s mission or curriculum content writing, Sarah-Jane enjoys pursuing her first love which is song-writing. She also has avid interests in, but considers herself to be strictly an amateur in the following activities: kayaking, hiking, stargazing, antique collecting, beachcombing, amongst other things.

Vidya Sudarsan
Co-Founder, Chief Product Architect
Edvisually For Autism and Beyond

Vidya Sudarsan is an engineer by profession. In 2008, she paused her successful career in the Silicon Valley to devote more time to her family and focus on her children’s growing needs. She is a proud mother of two daughters, the older of whom is now working at a Biotech company. Her younger teenage daughter, on the autism spectrum, served as the inspiration and motivation for creating this nonprofit.

She is a passionate volunteer, advocate and parent supporter amongst the Autism community and plays multiple roles in liaising and connecting parents to organizations that offer services for their children on the spectrum.

When she is not developing curriculum content for EdVisually and wearing the many hats that a Chief Product Architect calls for, Vidya enjoys working on her other passions like blogging and pinning on Pinterest about home decor, where she has over a million impressions monthly. She also loves gardening, cooking and watching travel and crime shows.

The two are close friends with common interests and are passionate advocates for children with learning challenges particularly within the Autism and ADHD communities. Together, they started their nonprofit, EdVisually, with a vision to promote awareness and create tools for visual learners. They came together to co-author their first book and later discovered the need to pursue this journey more seriously as academic content creators with an intent to go more high-tech and global.

They are now driven on building and creating virtual learning tools on a wide selection of academic and non-academic subjects as well as on a wide spectrum of life skills topics in order for neurodivergent learners of all ages to make connections with the world around them that help navigate them through their daily life.  It is their hope to bring the joy of learning and empower independence in neurodivergent learners around the world.
